If a company modifies and converts vehicles in series, it can apply for an Approval Construction Change (ACC) certification. With this certification, we can have a converted model extensively tested once. All vehicles we subsequently convert in the exact same manner in series no longer need to be tested. This saves both us and you time, allowing us to deliver the conversion faster!

Approval Construction Change Certification

Such an Approval Construction Change certification isn’t granted just like that. We first had to demonstrate that our conversions are produced according to the applicable legislation. We could only submit the ACC application after having an informational meeting with one of the RDW inspectors. Subsequently, we had to send quite a few documents.

After such an informational meeting, we could request an initial assessment. We then received an audit plan, and after the positive assessment, we could finally apply for the type approvals. After completing the initial assessment, the RDW conducted an audit at our location in Heteren. Here we received a Declaration of Conformity. This is valid for a maximum of three years and must be renewed each time. All to ensure that quality remains guaranteed!
