If it is a Blix Double Cabin, you can contact homologation@blixautomotive.com. At that time, we will look together at which documents are needed and how we can solve this as quickly as possible. If you do not have a Blix Double Cabin, we request you contact the respective supplier.

If you have a vehicle from the year 2020 or later, yes. For a WLTP calculation we need the following:

• The complete chassis number;
• The license plate number (if available);
• The bank frame number;
• The number of seats in the second row;
• The postal address.

  We will send the WLTP calculation by email, but we will send the type approval sticker to you by post. You can then stick it on the right B-pillar of the vehicle.

It may happen that you need an individual test report from the RDW for an Individual Inspection. We can request this from the RDW for you if it concerns our double cabin. We need the following from you for this:

• The complete chassis number;
• The first phase CoC/CvO;
• The bench frame number;
• The number of seats in the second row.

  An individual test report costs €197. Once this is paid, we will send you the test report by email.

Do you have a Blix Double Cabin? If so, you can forward your license plate number, bank frame number, and full chassis number to our homologation department (homologation@blixautomotive.com). We will then modify the number of seats on your registration free of charge. If you do not have a Blix Double Cabin, we ask that you contact the respective supplier.

If we have previously issued a second-phase CoC/CvO for your vehicle, but you are no longer in possession of this document, we can send you a copy of this second phase. All you need to do is send an email to homologatie@blixautomotive.com. In that email, please mention the make and model, the bank frame number, and the full chassis number of your vehicle. We will then send you a copy of the second-phase CoC/CvO. The cost for processing a copy of the second-phase CoC/CvO is €150, excl. VAT.

From the invoice date, you have a 2-year warranty on material or production defects. Should you encounter any issues, it is best to contact us via info@blixautomotive.com. 

That is possible. You can easily indicate the number of cabins in the comments field and also include multiple order references if needed.

Certainly! Everyone can order a Blix Double Cabin from us. As a commercial vehicle dealer, you can create an account yourself, giving you access to a special environment where you can download price lists and brochures.

Absolutely not. All our double cabins correspond with a specific vehicle due to quality requirements and guarantees. The RDW also does not approve second-hand installed cabins. Not even if one of our certified partners performs this work.

No. Blix Double cabs are only installed by our certified partners. These companies have been approved by us, so we know that they meet the strict requirements of the RDW. Without the proper paperwork, you cannot simply install our double cabs yourself.

Our double cabins are not only designed to ensure you travel safely and comfortably, but we also pay attention to appearance and decoration. Since 2020, we have been developing a new line of double cabins for large light commercial vehicles. The Blix Double Cabin is characterized by more comfort and a better fit with the contours of your commercial vehicle compared to our old line of double cabins.

Very fast! In most cases, you can be back on the road with your converted van within three days. How is that possible? Because we keep most parts in ample stock. Very occasionally, a part needs to be ordered, but fortunately, this is often not necessary. As a result, the conversion time and lead time can be considered very short.

Blix started in 1999 as part of ABK Kunststoffen, a manufacturer of partition walls. To further grow the process of installing double cabins in commercial vehicles, a separate company was established in 2016: Multi-Cab. This company moved from Dodewaard to Heteren at the beginning of 2019, and here not only total autonomy was achieved but also a new building and a new name: Blix Automotive.

Blix Automotive has its office and workshop in Heteren. To be precise, at Hooiland 2 in the industrial area Poort van Midden-Gelderland Zuid. Our location is near the A50, making it very easy to reach by car.
