Renault Master with double cabin

The Renault Master (with double cabin) is a sought-after commercial vehicle that, like many vans, is also available in an electric variant; the Renault Master E-Tech Electric. The Master is the largest van offered by the French manufacturer. And just like the Renault Trafic, this model was developed in collaboration with Opel. It is therefore not surprising that the Master closely resembles the Opel Movano both in terms of interior and exterior.

Advantages of a double cabin in the Renault Master

If you convert your regular Renault Master into a Renault Master with a double cabin, you instantly get a versatile company car that will bring you much joy. With a double cabin, you can transport both people and materials in one trip. Items in the back, colleagues in the front, and off you go!

Why a Renault Master with a double cabin?

The Renault Master already has a lot of loading space. Now, if you don’t need all that loading space but prefer to have more people on board, a double cabin is the ideal solution! This way, you get a van that can transport as many as six people. And at the same time, there is enough space in the back for your materials. This way, you can drive from project to project without worries!

By installing an extra row of seats in your Renault Master, you might be able to go on the road with just one van instead of two. This significantly saves on your wallet and is also better for the environment and road congestion. Less fuel, fewer car costs, but more fun and efficiency!

And have you also thought about the fact that with your converted Renault Master, you can now more easily go on trips with the whole family? After all, six people can come along (who all travel safely on a seat equipped with a belt and headrest), while you still have enough loading space in the back for any suitcases, bags, or toys.

Tax advantages of a double cabin

As a vehicle with a grey license plate, a Renault Master with a double cabin was financially attractive for many years because you could benefit from tax advantages and a lower tax premium. Unfortunately, starting in 2025, the grey license plate scheme for entrepreneurs will be discontinued. From January 1, 2025, entrepreneurs will have to pay the full BPM (tax on passenger cars and motorcycles) upon purchase.

A Renault Master emits more CO2, nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter as a commercial vehicle than a passenger car. This was the reason for the government to abolish the exemption for cars with a grey license plate starting in 2025.

From that year on, the BPM will be calculated based on CO2 emissions (just like with passenger cars). The rate is 66.90 euros per gram of CO2. This can quickly amount to ten to twenty thousand euros in taxes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Very fast! In most cases, you can be back on the road with your converted van within three days. How is that possible? Because we keep most parts in ample stock. Very occasionally, a part needs to be ordered, but fortunately, this is often not necessary. As a result, the conversion time and lead time can be considered very short.

Blix started in 1999 as part of ABK Kunststoffen, a manufacturer of partition walls. To further grow the process of installing double cabins in commercial vehicles, a separate company was established in 2016: Multi-Cab. This company moved from Dodewaard to Heteren at the beginning of 2019, and here not only total autonomy was achieved but also a new building and a new name: Blix Automotive.

Blix Automotive has its office and workshop in Heteren. To be precise, at Hooiland 2 in the industrial area Poort van Midden-Gelderland Zuid. Our location is near the A50, making it very easy to reach by car.
