The Citroën Jumper is a popular commercial vehicle with practical and large sliding doors and rear doors. This car is available as a diesel van, but also as an electric version, called the ë-Jumper.
Whether you have a Citroën Jumper Driver (especially for people who travel many kilometers) or the Citroën Jumper Worker (for when you often transport materials and people), we can easily equip it with a second row of seats. With a double cabin, you can drive to a job with up to six people in one vehicle, saving on fuel costs and contributing to the environment.
Why would you equip a Citroën Jumper with a double cab? The extra row of seats not only allows you to transport more colleagues to and from the worksite, but the company vehicle is also ideal for weekend outings with your family! With a double cab, you create extra seating while still maintaining enough space to transport items.
Another reason might be because you also use the van privately and want to go on day trips with your family. By equipping your Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a double cab, this is possible! There is enough room in the back for suitcases or bags, while the front can accommodate up to six people. And of course, each of them will be safely secured with a three-point seatbelt.
For years, a Citroën Jumper with a double cabin was attractive due to tax benefits as a commercial vehicle with grey license plates, including tax advantages and a lower premium. However, as of January 1, 2025, the grey license plate scheme for entrepreneurs will be abolished. This means that from that moment, entrepreneurs will have to pay the full BPM (tax on passenger cars and motorcycles) upon purchase.
The reason for this is that a Citroën Jumper as a delivery or company vehicle emits more CO2, nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter than a passenger car. For this reason, the government has decided to abolish the exemption for grey license plate vehicles starting in 2025.
From that year, the BPM will be based on CO2 emissions, similar to passenger cars. The tax amounts to 66.90 euros per gram of CO2, which can add up to ten to twenty thousand euros in tax.
